HOW WE WORK
Before an investigation begins, most clients want to know how the investigative process will work. What steps will Corporate Intel take? What should you do as the client? Will the target know that he or she is being investigated? Every case is different, so there's no way to predict exacly what steps will need to be taken, but here are some things you can expect.
1. Intial Consultation This is the first step to take. If you feel in any way that your situation may require an investigation, please don't hesitate to contact us. The initial consultation is always free and confidential.
2. Planning After the initial consultation, if you decide to retain Corporate Intel, we will begin planning our investigation. We will determine what resources, tools, and technology should be used, how surveillance (if appropriate) will be conducted, and how to document the activity of the subject.
3. Investigation Investigations require patience. Once the investigation begins you, the client, should do nothing. Any action you take that is out-of-the-ordinary can alert the subject that he or she is being watched and potentially ruin the investigation. The lines of communication between you and Corporate Intel are always open, and we will keep you informed of what's going on at all times. In fact, while an investigation is in progress, we usually speak with the client at least once a day. Throughout the investigative process, we are preparing and waiting so that when the subject to takes action, we are ready to document that action.
4. Documentation Documentation is usually provided in the form of photographs or video footage. Should the situation require a trial, Corprate Intel's investigator can serve as an professional witness.
